But 'game manager' label can only be changed on the field. Kirk has to remove that label with his play. And to me there is nothing wrong with being a "game manager". Take the plays that are there and don't turn the ball over.
I think asking/game planning for
any player to do more then they can currently handle is setting them and the team up to fail. Gameplanning for Kirk to carry the offense on his arm imo is a mistake.
Kirk might
become more then a game manager but right now, imo the best bet is to build our offense around our strength...the running game. Allow the passing game to be a complement to the run game not be the focal point of the offense. I don't think we can't establish an identity as a run team, which appears to be Scott's goal, with the playcalling from the Giants game.
