Grabbed a few stouts for International Stout Day on Thursday. 4 Hands Chocolate Milk Stout is quite tasty. Also got a 4 pack of OB Ten Fidy, which is in another world man. So thick pouring yet a luscious mouth feel.
Went to
White Oak Tavern in Ellicott City on Friday night. Not quite 40 taps, had some cool stuff, some boring stuff, some weird stuff. Interesting thing was all drafts were the same price, they just changed the pour size. Some were 16, some were 12, 10, 8, etc.
Weirdest was an imperial marzen they decided to put on nitro. Marzens are supposed to be light and drinkable. This was thick and had a strange after taste. Felt like you could cut it in chunks. The head stayed throughout the beer.
