Wondering out loud
I really like Keenan Robinson.
I think he can really play in a scheme where he is protected up front, like in a 2-gap scheme. I'm gonna utter a name that is unpopular but Haslett's scheme was more ILB friendly. Joe's scheme doesn't leave him protected as often and then there is the question of how much injuries hurt his play last year. If we are gonna stay with a 1-gap style 34 then I wonder if imo our 2 best ILBs (Keenan and Compton) can play together in this scheme.
ILBs in this type of scheme tend to be more of the banger type then the run and chase type and if they're gonna improve the run defense the ILBs have to come to play.
