Why wait all the way through the suspension until reinstatement? There's a new GM and coach in town there, you have to figure they'll look at it as a blank slate for him.

They didn't release him because they wanted a draft pick for him. I still insist that is partially why we hung onto Griffin. They want no part of a potential issue with a new coach and GM they want their guys.
