As far as a trade, its not going to happen. RG3 will say no to any reworking of his contract so he can go to the team he wants, not the team the Redskins want. Plus, if a team is going to give him 5 mil a year (or whatever number) to do a trade, then they will offer that to him as a FA. There is absolutely zero reason for RG3 or his agent to care about reworking his contract for a trade.

I kinda disagree on RGIII having no motivation to be part of a trade. But the biggest motivation is non-football and maybe not a factor. DS has been nothing if not loyal to RGIII, and players have often shown loyalty to DS regardless of the coaching/FO mess and it may be that if the Skins deal only with teams he wants to go to, that he may pay back that loyalty by doing a deal within the framework of a trade. So maybe the Skins working with Griffins agent works up competing offers from Houston and SF,for example. If that happened the Skins might get a late pick or a player and RGIII and the other team have a mutually agreed deal in place.
