Yes I agree.
But the 49ers are a team that were recently a SB contender and now are terrible. So they are just as desperate as Denver at this point. The negotiations between the two must be really interesting. I imagine the 49ers are asking for a king's ransom.
I wonder if they can not agree at this point on a trade, that during the draft they might find a more mutually beneficial agreement.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
Griffen is a Free Agent and if they can get him for a cheap deal, he could be there back up and groom for the future QB. Especially since RGIII seems to need more time to develop.
