Fair enough. I suppose it would be like lumping Winger in with Metallica, Megadeth, or Slayer. Again, not really a rap or hip hop fan, so I don't know who the rap/hip hop purest would think are "legends" of the genre or not, and I really don't give a fuck. But, there is common ground in that those who are considered greats in these genres like rap, hip hop, and rock, are getting black-balled by the music industry. If DJs across the country were free to play whatever is they want or whatever it is that gets requested, maybe it would be different.
