Stats dont mean shit,RG3 had good stats. He had another costly int Sunday that gave Cleveland an easy TD that luckily the team was able to overcome by getting some turnovers in the 4th,and it's a good thing because our defense wasnt stopping the Browns without those turnovers.
Kirk's problem has been consistency, how bout we hold off for a while before saying pay the man.

Stats mean a lot. And the more stats you have on a player, the more they mean. They help in making a more objective appraisal of a players performance. They also provide a broader perspective on a player when his stats are compared to those of his peers.
Here are some of Cousin's stats and rankings so far this season:
Total Yards: 1,172 (6th)
Completion Pct: 66.2 (13th)
Yards per Game: 293.0 (6th)
Touchdowns: 6 (11th)
Interceptions Thrown: 4 (12th)
QB Rating: 91.8 (13th)
So, let's just say that Kirk is the 13th rated QB based on the above numbers. I just can't come up with a another solution that is likely to produce a better QB than keeping Kirk Cousins would. He could be a Top 10 QB by season's end and that is very hard to find. Nevertheless, I agree with you that there is no reason to lock him up now.
