I could care less if they cut him - lol - it really isnt that big of a deal. He just sucks right now. I mean a 34 yarder? You let the pressure get to you on a 34 yarder? That is so not good.
However, whoever our kicker is, we are a good team. We were a terrible team up until about midway through last season. We are in every single game, and win more than we lose. That is called trending up folks. Also if you think the season is over you really need to look at the standings. We are in the mix for a playoff birth in more than one way, and in two weeks we should be healthier than we have been.
Preston Smith is bordering on Breeland territory right now. A few guys including those two really need to step up.
There are two that need to step up and play how they are capable of playing on a more consistent basis - Kerrigan and Norman. I just want RK to be more of a disruptive force for longer stretches. He is the leader of our defense, yesterday he was getting nowhere near Dalton for a long time. No I don't want to cut him you can hold off on the Kerrigan witch hunt talk. I just expect more from him. Norman too.
Kerrigan reminds me of Orakpo in this way. He's never developed any pass rush moves. Just the bull rush.

I think with Smith, he just doesn't have the burst or explosiveness coming off the line. And he also seems to have only one move.
