My one concern, as I mentioned in another thread: TOs can be corrected, poor O-line pass protection can be corrected, BUT WE'RE NOT BEING ABLE TO RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!!. People respect our passing game enough for Portis to get some good runs in, but he keeps stumbling his way through games.

Half the time, he runs into one of our own O-linemen upfield. The one counter trey where Thomas and Jansen pulled, but Dockery and Rabach didn't pull the other way looked disastrous as Portis was tackled in the backfield for a loss.

Worst of all, Portis looks banged up - not because of that cut on his lips, but because he keeps limping on and off. I wouldn't mind him being rested against San Fran and coming back healthy for the Giants.
