I started in COBOL/TSO/IMS/DB2 in '85.
Transitioned to mostly Oracle PL/SQL a few years back.
Over the years have had my hands in IBM Mainframe, VAX, UNIX. Java/EJB/JSP, VB6 and VB.NET.

For the record... I hated Java too.
