1) if you hate Trump as you say you do than why does it bother you that people gleefully predicted his failure?
2) maybe im wrong but isn't it the Trumpers who throw around the deplorable word? Aren't they the ones who say "she should not have said that"?
3) i do not think why Trump won is really important, but I also do not think that anyone can point to exactly why or how he did win.

Edit: doesn't it bother you when you hear people go "lawyers this and lawyers that". Your all the same.
I feel like anyone who speaks out against Trump gets generalized like a lawyer. In your opinion We are all "smugs". Just not the case. Way too many levels to all of this.
There are idiots on every side of every equation. It just puzzles me that your hatred of the "smugs" outweighs your hatred of Trump - the man who, in your words, paints his own reality- and is now in charge of our country?
