Is it time already for the annual BPA vs. draft for need argument? I hope not because I get clobbered in every pre-draft thread for my philosophical lean towards drafting for need after the first round. I just want to say that we can't always have it both ways; that is, drafting BPA and drafting for need at the same time.
So, what's the vehicle to target the filling of major holes, then? Isn't much of it done via FA? If that is the case, then I'd like to see Scott go for more players who solve position needs vs. stop-gaps in FA. We have enough cap room to do that this year.
