Looking at the Von Miller situation from last year, it seems that none of these deals are ever done well before the deadline.
As Andrew Brandt puts it, deadlines spur action.
I honestly feel that a deal will get done, but it will be at the 11th hour. If they have to tag him again next year, so be it.
