In all of this I think Gruden's role is very underrated; it would be a much bigger blow to this organization to lose JG over McC.
I am also not saying losing McC doesn't hurt; I just think some folks put him at the Jesus level when in reality he was doing Altar Boy level work; good not great.

I honestly feel that the biggest winner from all these changes in the offseason has been Jay Gruden.
To me it seems that he's going to have more of a saying on personnel matters (than perhaps before).
I don't think that he (Gruden) had any issues with McC (as I thought before), but I just feel that he is in a better position within the organization (including an extension) than he was before.
Aside from contract/money screw ups, which fall in Allen's territory (but he's actually done well in this area I believe), the talent acquisition and performance will fall more on Williams and Gruden.
