This isn't a "Slam Aikman" feeling - he plays an overvalued position, and while he was very good at it, I don't know that he was dominant in his era at the position. He should and will be inducted, but he's no slam dunk.
I agree, if any QB deserves to make it this year it should be Moon. Look at his stats, he was a great QB on shity teams.

Comp %: 58.4%
Passing Yards: 49325
Passing TD: 291

For each catagory this is where he is ranked among the others.
Passing Attempts: 4th, only Favre, Elway, Marino ahead of him
Passing Comp: 4th, with the same 3 ahead of him
Passing Yards: 4th, with the same 3 ahead of him
Passing TD: 5th, with the same 3 ahead of him plus Tarkenton

So if you look at the company he is with, he is more than deserving of a 1st time ballot to make the HOF.
