Yes, he's the best we've had in a long time, but if the best we have is 9ish wins and a 1st round exit, then that does nothing for me. If you ain't 1st you're last.
Its a gamble going with a rookie, but so is locking into a 5 year expensive contract with a 30 year old qb that hasn't consistently shown he can win when it counts.

Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl with 12 tds 11 int. 1,500 yds. The Redskins could be very successful with KC at QB, he just needs a much better supporting cast....RB, WR and a great defense. He is not Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers, but most of the fans expect a two minute drive to win every game.
It is a moot point though, there is little evidence KC wants to stay in DC.
