Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
Cred, I am happy to give Trump partial credit for getting 3 Americans released from NK and peace talks advanced (but don't go giving him full credit, China/SK also deserve some) but at the same time, why don't we talk about the Iran deal and what specifically Trump has a problem with? In the last year gas prices in Woodbridge have gone from 2.20/gal to 2.80/gal, and this is just the precursor to even higher prices once summer rolls around and the shit pops off because we left the Iran deal. Now I know, who gives a shit about gas prices? I do, because I drive a lot. The raise in prices is only going to cut into the bump I got from the tax reform bill (which I'm not sure I got at all because the salary bump I got supposedly bumped me into the next tax bracket).
Now I don't know much, but I do know this. When my cost of living goes up as a direct result of his policies, it offsets however happy I am that peace in Korea finally seems feasible. I'm happy the 3 Americans are coming home too, but don't have much sympathy for them because everybody with half a brain knew it was a dangerous proposition visiting NK in any capacity as an American while hostilities were being thrown around.
And unless Trump starts spouting specifics about why the Iran deal is bad, I am happy to believe he only wanted out because it was an Obama deal. When everybody (including your own intelligence) says Iran was complying with the deal, I see no reason to back out. Now we can look forward to Iran bailing on the agreement too and all the negative reactions that will happen as a result of that.
