If the front office signed Kirk after 2015 it would have been fine, but they had legit misgivings and held up. Kirk wanted to leave, and he is a genius in my view. He set the team back because the team didn't have the balls of moving on from him once they realized he was NOT TRYING. He did enough to make sure he was marketable to stupid teams that were willing to give him a ton of money and that's it.
He's lucky he was able to manage to get garbage yards and TDs so he would have a market.
