We defiently have more talent on our line, the difference is denver uses a scheme called zone blocking, they read the flow of the defence and start blocking accordingly, this in turn allow's a back to read and react, if you have a shifty back he can have a lot of success, if he's instinctive enough to read blocking pattern's, then it's not all that different from the counter trey, in which the back follow's his pulling linemen, and react's off of that, but we wont be running that play all the time, we will have a lot of straight ahead smash mouth running play's, designed to ware down the defense, that's where my interest lie's, can portis run between the tackles and take that kind of pounding? Or will Gibb's institute some more trapping style of running play's? Which I think portis is more suited for, the thing with smash mouth that gibb's likes to play, it's more condusive to a consistant small gain, than 1 big gain, that is why I feel portis will have a very difficult time trying to reach his mark of the previous 2 year's.
