I tend to lean towards not just giving Trent a really big extension as he has trended towards routinely missing a quarter of the season due to injury or suspension. I would rather pay the guy Schreff entering his prime.
Let the Trent situation die down a bit...add a year and some guaranteed money. If this is over several million from being a top 3 paid OT in the league...try to find away.
