I do agree our D has to play better. However, as a coach Williams has to put our players in better positions. We can not send 7 or 8 guys at the end of game (one of those being our best corner) after the QB and leaving a rookie, 2nd string safety, and #2 corner on the outside one on one. That is bad playcalling!! Especially since these blitzes have NOT worked all day, and Simms was eating us alive everytime we blitzed him. Williams has to swallow some of that ego and adjust his game plan or defensive calls. This has been a problem for the last few games. No pressure on the blitz, means big plays down field.
