I think our D has been giving up too many points in the last 3 or 4 games. 36 in two of the last 3. there were obvious factors to giving up these points, turnovers ect. However the fact remains we continue to give up big play after big play going back to the Seattle game. There are reasons for this that GW and his staff have to figure out. Our blitz packages have not been getting pressure on the QB, which has left us open to plays down the field. Either we have to figure out a new way to get pressure, or minimize our risks and blitz when its least anticipated. I do believe GW is a good coach, and Taylor not playing along with Griffin hurt our pressure game. But good teams and good defenses learn to do what thier personal allow. Example is New England when they had WR playing safety, they could not do alot of the thing they were use to doing, but found ways to be creative with the personel on the field. I believe we will figure those things out. We have good run stoppers on the line, but no pass rushers what so ever. We can not continue to think our LBs and CBs are the best option. Teams have started to adjust to our defesive schemes and its showing. Does not matter what happens, when you put up the numbers we did against a team with essentially a rookie QB playing we should not lose, no matter what happens. I said earlier that the refs did account for a "POSSIBLE" point swing of 17 points. It could have been 9 points if we hold them to field goals. We just need to stop the big plays that have been hurting us for 5 or 6 weeks. Once those stop, we will win a whole lot of the games left on our schedule.
