I wake up this morning at step 5. This season is over. I'll just watch whatever games I get locally if I want to watch football. At this point, I want us to go 0-16 so hopefully the whole system gets burned to the ground.
Every year is the exact same thing. We should change our mascot to the Groundhogs.

Let me see where I stand: 1. Check! 2. Check! 3. Check! 4. Check! 5. I'm almost there.
Where does apathy fit in? Because I truly could not summon any emotions whatsoever during the Monday night game. I turned it on because I'm supposed to as a nominal Skins fan but when the pick six happened I just shrugged and tuned in to the Nats game. Later on I tuned back to the Skins game at the beginning of the 4th quarter. I watched a minute or two until my wife changed the channel and we watched reruns of
Law and Order and I couldn't have cared less. I had never felt that way before about the Skins but that's where I am now.
I admit that here is still a crack open for me to care again (a little) if things improve but I'm not holding my breath until they do.
