We’ll have lots of cap money once they dump/trade all the old and hurt FA. Out of our top player contracts in 2019, six out of the top eight didn’t finish the season due to injury.
Players like Norman, Reed, Davis, McCoy, Keenum,Richardson and even Kerrigan and Moses may be traded/dumped or renegotiated (Kerrigan).
That frees up the acquisition of some new talent. I doubt they will hire any FA over 30 except at QB and maybe Penn as backup OL. I see Hooper as the prime FA target at TE. Resign Trent Williams, Scherff, Flowers, Penn. They’ll bring in FA at WR, CB and S and backup QB.
Draft will be Chase Young, OT (replace Moses), TE, DB, QB (project)
This team will get younger, less injured history, more talent for less money. Gone are Bruce Allen’s ridiculous contracts.
