Last I checked, almost always victims of police brutality were not 100% innocent citizens, they initiated the events that led to the bad outcome.

Good morning bob .. hope all is well.
If your first sentence says there is no excuse for police exceeding their authority and they need to fry .... whey then spend the next 5 sentences making excuses. I think this particular case was so blatant, so unnecessary that even very pro blue cannot justify or excuse this particular death.
“Almost all” ... I would challenge that. A woman a nurse was killed by the police while she was sleeping in bed a few weeks ago. A aunt was shot and killed through her home window playing video games with her nephew she was babysitting.
The police need to be held to a higher standard than they currently are in this country. The use of lethal force should be the extreme last resort. I understand police can be on edge responding to a report of a guy with a gun but when you have the guy on the ground begging for his life and your yelling him instructions to crawl to you and he does and you shot him 30 times? The guy a dad a pest control guy is dead and the cop is getting over 30k pension for the rest of his life.
Police culture needs to change.
The narrative that cops don’t lie needs to change.
The police thinking they can pull the trigger at any slight thought needs to change.
What’s the solution? Hell if I know man ...
