John Keim - Rivera said Alex Smith knows about 75% of the playbook already, and says Haskins isn't far behind that. Says DH has done the extra things and has done the job that deserves recognition.

I'm really happy to hear that the guy that most likely won't even play, is ahead of the "probable" starter in learning the new playbook. Awesome. Why would he say that?
