A team with more talent led by Alex Smith vs. a team with the current talent led by a rookie QB not named Trevor Lawrence...which sounds better? I actually think Option 1.
If he wasn't coming off the 2nd most gruesome injury ever for a QB I would say it's a good option but I don't see him lasting a full season.
