And I do agree he had a really good game against the Seahawks, including first half IMO. But starting him, and even more so not benching him earlier reeked of "I got to give this freakin' kid every single chance available and only bench him when there's no other choice"... which reeks of Snyder's influence.
Nah, starting DH was just the only decision to be made. DH was the best option for the team last night, he just played terribly. With the stripper incident, DH put Ron in an impossible position, but with the chance to win the division, you owe it to the rest of the team to start the guy you think gives you the best chance. Unfortunately with Alex out, that was DH. Honestly, if there was no stripper incident, the decision to start DH probably wouldn't have even be questioned.

You're not starting Heinicke over DH last night - period. Now that last night happened, it's a different story.
