When doing a fantasy draft, go after top notch young cbs/safeties/lbs and oline as your top priorities and then draft young and fast. Sign everyone with less than 3 year deals to new 7 year contracts and give them the snyder treatment by making them backloaded and the signing bonuses should only be as much as it takes for them to sign and nothing more. Then a few years down the line resign them with new deals that r done the same way. And as far as u not being able to trade a player with only one year left, I don't what to tell u about that cuz I've been able to do that but u want to try and do it before week 6 and try to guess by the current records & pts against/for who will have the top picks in the draft. that's what I do and I've been able to keep a lot of my top players and dump the ones I've started to replace with rookies with draft picks.
