But he likes the idea of laying people out. He tapes each of his knuckles before games, inserts gold false teeth, parts of a ritual that leads to him openly telling opponents of the punishment they are about to face. One receiver accused Taylor of spitting on him. As the year progressed, the closer I watched him, the more it became apparent that he was a 15 yard penalty waiting to happen. That being said, the Redskins couldn't have gotten a better safety, one with range, athleticism and the ability to literally scare others."
