Good point. I guess it's not so much Smith we're worried about losing, it's the recent success in the draft/free agency.
If they can replace Smith with somebody as good or better, great! I'd just hate to lose a
proven talent evaluator and be left with another BA or Vinny. Which is why I'd like to see him retained along with the new hire.
But what do I know!?
