The man hates to lose and does not concede defeat easily (remember the Giants game? He went for the TD late rather than kick an easy meaningless field goal to avoid the shut out - I thought that spoke volumes about the man).

I think after his 5 years as coach, he'll still stay with the team in a front office capacity (probably President) indefinitely. Even it just becomes a figurehead role he'll still be a part of this franchise. He is a part-owner right?
