Forgetting the "dumbs" and other name calling that seems to be ok in this thread, I want to say that regardless of how it plays out, right now the team is handling it very well. Could you imagine a BA led front office going through this. There would be rumors, innuendos, name calling - you know like the debating with enemies thread. Instead, you see the team leaders calling for clear thinking, doing the right thing, but still speaking in respectful terms of all the players and teammates.

I imagine getting through this, just like getting through RR's cancer last year, will bring the team together tighter. Now, if game checks are lost that certainly would be a separate stressor, but up to this point the team reactions have been excellent.

PS there are 2 other threads about Covid where everyone can go and discuss ad nauseum Covid. Can this thread not devolve please.
Good luck, the issues are inextricably linked. As long as players are refusing the vaccine you're going to have fans who think they're dumbasses, and explaining why they think so on the message boards.

As for team response, I have a meh reaction to that. Every other team is dealing with the same thing, so in theory they're all being brought closer together too. Don't think there will be any kind of intangible or emotional factor here that contributes to our W L record, no more so than any other team has.

What might play a factor is number of missed practice/training camp days. Or worse, missed games. With so many guys missing camp because of being on the COVID list, we're at a disadvantage compared to most teams, not an advantage.
