This isn't a sport where you can afford to go out on the field and half-ass it. At this point in their careers, that would just be foolish. If that is the choice a player makes, then he probably doesn't deserve to wear the uniform.
I don't see that happening on this team in particular.
Call it old school, new school - whatever. This
is new. Three preseason games a two week break, and then a 17 game season. Everyone is just trying to figure out what works best for their team.
I think the two week break is actually going to be the deciding factor as to whether or not "starters" for the WFT play this weekend. I think there will probably be plenty playing at least briefly, and I'm ok with that.
