While Brunell's productivity has taken a dive recently, you can't pull the guy with whom the receivers have developed a chemistry after 13 games and insert a right hander that hasn't seen the playing field since week one.
As bad as the offense was against a poor defense today, making a quarterback change now would make things astoundingly worse.
The real problem is that teams have zeroed in on Santana Moss and you cannot depend on Chris Cooley to pick up all the slack. Taylor Jacobs had his third pathetic game in a row as the #2 receiver, and if that doesn't settle once and for all his capability as a viable wideout, I don't know what will. He presents no consistent option for the quarterback whatsoever.
