Cooking the books in any other company would find you in jail most likely, but not here. And even if he would be convicted of something, he most likely would serve his time and still be the owner. There's nothing short of MAYBE first or second degree murder, that would get him out. And I say Maybe because again, the league could and probably would be totally fine with Dan serving his time in prison and continuing to have people run the team in his absence. Plenty of people have been in prison and still maintained outside business interests / responsibilities.

Sadly, I agree, although I hope we are both wrong.
Between the once fabled waiting list morphing into BS, reducing capacity of FedEx, StubHub purchases, and other things, Danny will pass this chicanery off as accounting errors.
I have said it before, but if your name is Mara, Tisch, Jones, or Lurie, you like having Danny as the Washington owner. You like it a great deal. A permanently crippled divisional opponent helps your record and his vulgar personality and corrupt management make you look like a saint.
Now, why are those abandoning the franchise wrong?
