Actually the more I think about it I'm making it a priority to resign him. Then I am drafting a QB, probably in the 4th round.

Heinicke is a great No. 2. If he was signed as exactly that, I'd be fine with it. But I'm assuming the same coaches are coming back next year. I don't trust this staff and Heinicke is due for a significant raise.
I'd rather go Howell, Mid-Round Pick, and a Brissett/Taylor/Dalton type veteran.
