Carr is 12-44 against playoff teams and has issues in cold-weather games, going 2-10 with a total QBR of 33.6 (44th out of 47 qualified QBs), a 58.0% completion percentage and a 14-14 touchdown-to-interception ratio in games where the temperature is 40 degrees or colder. He is 1-7 with a 35.5 QBR (35th out of 46 QBs) and an 8-9 TD-INT ratio when the game is played at 32 degrees or colder.

I change my mind, I am completely against Carr, even as a FA.

HOWELL BY DEFAULT BABY!!!
Ron is looking at that right now and he's saying "That's interesting, but it's not important."

I think it's more than interesting, and provides good reason to pause about bringing him in, but it's still a team game. He didn't lose all those games by himself. Here are the defenses he has had the pleasure to play with since he joined the league.

2022 - 26th
2021 - 26th
2020 - 30th
2019 - 24th
2018 - 32nd
2017 - 20th
2016 - 20th
2015 - 22nd
2014 - 32nd

He's still better than anyone we've had here since Cousins. That being said, I would still rather see what Howell can do vs. pay someone like Carr - and not be able to upgrade areas of need, and bring back some of our own. But if they swing big on Carr, I won't hate it. Just hope it works out and we have an OC that can put it all together.
