To OP I have never had Kombucha either till she made it. The process is disgusting but the taste is not bad. She boiled tea and then let it air ferment for a couple of weeks. Did some other things to it too but the entire time I was imagining two Chinese twenty year olds , 2,000 years ago, looking at this fementing mess and daring each other to drink it. Whoever took that step was a brave person.
