The deadline is May 1st after the draft to pick up the 5th year option for Chase Young. To me, it’s a no brainer you pick it up and you go into this year with the plan for Montez and Chase competing for the long term extension.

If you don’t pick it up, you do risk losing both starting DE not this league year, but the following.

You picking it up? I think he has shown enough but has a lot more to prove as well but it protects us.
