Back to the pick a guy on the radio noted what I had seen as well when watching complete games. Drake Maye does not have good pocket presence. He tends to drift right into sacks, does not show that natural feel in the pocket like a guy like Romo had and I don't believe that can be coached. He also does not escape trouble the way the more athletic QBs do and of course he holds the ball too long. Nobody seems to have commented on this but his delivery is MUCH slower than Daniels as well.

I went into this firmly on the Drake Maye bus. But I now believe he has a low ceiling and I want to take a swing on someone who has a better chance of being great. I believe the team feels the same way and will draft Daniels.
