I went to a free signing with Art Monk at some mall years ago. I figured he would be the same as DG considering his reputation for shyness. Not quite. While he was far from jolly like Theismann or Dexter, he was all smiles and looked to be enjoying himself. And he even laughed at a joke I cracked.
I know, hardly high level encounters. But it's all I got.
