I heard a rumor that the Chargers may buy out the final year of Schottenheimer's contract, freeing him up to go to the Jets (who supposedly are interested).

This leads me to two questions:

1. Will Brees or Rivers join him in NY?

2. Who would take over the Chargers, which would have to be one of the more coveted jobs in the NFL with LT and AG?
