It wasn't squarely on Brunell. Jacobs got out-muscled and out-hustled to the ball. Simple as that. Looking back, yeah, Brunell probably shouldn't have thrown the ball, but as an NFL QB, you expect your WRs to make a play sometimes!
He never gets ANY separation from defenders in games. I don't know what his deal is.
