I wouldn't have bet on Kitna leaving Cincy before the injury. It seems even less likely now.

Regarding Ramsey, I just don't think other teams view him as a hot commodity. I think they see Patrick as a back up, no more. I was convinced that Patrick was a good fit for Gibbs before last year. Gibbs obviously feels otherwise. He might have worked out back in the day when a quarterback could stand in the pocket for much longer. Gibbs now realizes that on pass plays the clock is ticking and in order for his passing attack to succeed, he needs a qb that can buy time with his legs. The defenses are much more attacking in that regard. At any rate, Ramsey is more valuable as sytem-knowledgable backup in Washington for one more year than he is as trade fodder.

The Cincy connection is interesting in that M. Lewis should have an opinion on Ramsey one way or the other having coached here in '02. I don't suspect his memories are all that fond.
