That seems correct to me--also, Samuels had a knee, Jansen had a thumb, etc. Plus, we were on the road for the last 3 games--that is VERY tough to do in the NFL.
Thomas goes down, the run game falters, that affects everything Gibbs wants to do on offense, and you saw the results. What's encouraging to me--and ignored by pundits like Sally I-love-NY Jenkins--is that we still won in philly and TB, and almost won in Seattle.
