That almost makes sense, until you consider it's defense that won the game for Seattle. It was defense that stopped the Patriots. And guess who won the game for the Steelers, against the most unstoppable offense in the history of the cosmos? Oh right, it was defense.
And then there was the Bears-Panthers game, which was supposed to be a low-scoring defensive struggle to begin with, but the Bears vaunted defense crumbled.
Of course it's not surprising that a has-been who really never was would be talking about offense instead of defense. He never figured out how to read a defense anyway.
