I think Gibbs has shown his real strength is in personell management and leading. He won't let this become a "too many cooks in the kitchen" deal. That thought isn't lost on him. Let's be honest. Even the most diehard Gibbs supporters(me included) recognized that the offense probably had some fundamental issues that they were failing to overcome. They have had the same offensive coaches for two years but weren't able to get over the hump. I doubt seriously if Gibbs looked at the situation and didn't realize that while bringing in someone like Saunders would help it would also marginalize some of his guys. The move was made because it was best for the Skins and if some coaches feelings are hurt because they get less input than before then that is just the way it is. Gibbs isn't going to let it become a free for all with no singular concrete direction or philosophy.
