If you want to go online to play Madden and other EA Sports games, PS2 is the clear choice, they have exclusive rights to EA online, for now at least, and it's free. You have to pay to go online with the box.
Xbox is the superior system graphics wise.
Why not get them both? LOL
I have the cube and the PS2, I've got my eye on the Xbox, perhaps when Halo 2 drops I'll have to pick up the box.
